ORDINANCE NO. _, SECOND SERIES <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE <br />REGARDING INDUSTRIAL PARK SUBDIVISION OVERLAY DISTRICT <br />CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br />COUNTY OF CROW WING <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br />Purpose and Intent: The purpose of this ordinance amendment is to amend Chapter 17 <br />of the Pequot Lakes City Code relating to Land Use and Subdivision Regulations. <br />Amendment: Chapter 17, Article 6.7 shall be amended to add the following language: <br />17 -6.7 Business Park Infill Zone <br />1. Pumose and Intent. To streamline the subdivision process for properties <br />within the Industrial Park (also called the Business Park) based on the <br />knowledge that the properties within the park are already platted, the <br />topo rgrgphy is flat and municipal services are provided throughout. By <br />streamlining the subdivision process, the City of Pequot Lakes seeks to <br />encourage more intensive use of the park through infill development with <br />additional private- sector investment. <br />2. Subdivision Standards. The following standards apply to land within the <br />Business Park Infill Zone sWersedingLthose standards in Chapter 17 -9.2. <br />A. Submittals. The following information shall be submitted for a <br />Metes and Bounds subdivision: <br />i. A completed subdivision application. <br />ii. A legal description, prepared by a Licensed Land Surveyor, <br />describing all newly created lots and all remnant pieces. <br />iii. A list of proposed lot sizes for each newly created lot and <br />all remnant pieces. <br />iv. A signed statement from a Licensed Land Surveyor <br />indicating that the proposed lot lines have been staked <br />consistent with the submitted legal description. <br />
