The City annually <br /> designates the Echo Journal and the Brainerd Dispatch as <br /> its official newspapers. The Echo Journal is the main <br /> newspaper used by the City. The Brainerd Dispatch is used <br /> mainly as a backup newspaper in the case of a missed <br /> publication deadline. <br /> Council Action Requested: Council motion adopting the <br /> attached resolution designating official newspapers for <br /> 2017. <br />
