AGENDA ITEM #11 .5 <br /> REPORT TO <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Date: December 3, 2007 <br /> Subject: 2003 Pick Up Truck <br /> Report: On July 3, 2007, the City Council authorized the <br /> purchase of a pick up truck for the Maintenance <br /> Department. The motion further stated that the existing <br /> `- 2003 one ton truck be sold. At the time of this motion, the <br /> City was not intending to hire another Water/Wastewater <br /> employee. The plan was to share the current trucks among <br /> two departments. Since then, the plan has changed with the <br /> hiring of a Water/Wastewater Supervisor. This will cause <br /> the loss of an available truck for the Maintenance <br /> Department. Mike Loven is requesting that the <br /> Maintenance Department be allowed to retain the 2003 one <br /> ton truck for daily use. <br /> Council Action Requested: Council motion allowing the <br /> Maintenance Department to retain the 2003 one ton truck. <br />
