Memorandum of Agreement Between City of Pequot Lakes and Mn/DOT <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> b. The City will dedicate the city-owned property that lies within the <br /> boundary of the spray irrigation site that is needed for the construction <br /> of mainline TH 371 or any service road system. This includes all <br /> permanent right of way and any temporary easements needed for <br /> construction. The City will deliver this property to Mn/DOT with fee <br /> title, free and clear of any covenants or restrictions. <br /> 2. Trunk Highway (TH) 371 Alignment and Configuration <br /> a. The City will only pursue alternate routes that are easterly and are <br /> similar to those defined as Alternative 4 of the DEIS. (See Figures A9 <br /> and All 0.) <br /> b. Mn/DOT will allow a maximum of three at-grade intersections along the <br /> alternate route. No additional access will be allowed on the alternative <br /> route. <br /> c. Associated with this project, Mn/DOT will acquire the property needed <br /> for a possible future grade separated interchange at the junction of TH <br /> 371 and Crow Wing State Aid Highway (CSAH) 11. <br /> 3. General <br /> a. If the provisions of this agreement are maintained and Mn/DOT elects <br /> to accept the alternate route as the new preferred alternative, Mn/DOT <br /> will be responsible for the necessary changes to the completed <br /> environmental documents. <br /> b. Before formally seeking municipal approval, Mn/DOT will provide the <br /> City a good faith cost estimate outlining the amount of project funding <br /> that will be the responsibility of the City. <br />
