Consider Adoption of Harassment Policy <br /> MAYOR MALECHA MOVED TO ADOPT THE HARASSMENT POLICY. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.4. Tobacco Policy <br /> The Council discussed whether the policy should include the public <br /> grounds. It was the consensus that the grounds are not included in the <br /> policy. <br /> MAYOR MALECHA MOVED TO ADOPT THE TOBACCO POLICY. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.5. Consider Rescinding Current Technology Policy and Adopting New <br /> Technology Policy <br /> MAYOR MALECHA MOVED TO ADOPT THE NEW TECHNOLOGY <br /> POLICY. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.6. Consider Adoption of Collection Agency Policy <br /> MAYOR MALECHA MOVED TO APPROVE THE COLLECTION <br /> AGENCY POLICY AND THE ADDITION OF THE K9 POLICE DOG TO <br /> THE CAPITAL ASSET USEFUL LIFE LIST AND TO ADD THESE TWO <br /> ITEMS TO THE ACCOUNT AND PROCEDURES POLICY. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7- <br /> 0. <br /> 12.7. Results from Mayor's Column <br /> The Mayor reviewed the results received from residents regarding the <br /> Mayor's column. The Mayor requested suggestions to help traffic <br /> congestion issues in the downtown area. Discussion was held regarding a <br /> suggestion to have the mailbox at a different location than in front of the <br /> post office. The Mayor requested the Clerk to contact the Post Office to <br /> see if they would consider the suggestion of moving the mailbox. <br />
