2. On any public or private parking lot without the express written permission of the property <br /> owner. <br /> 3. Upon any property containing facilities designed to invite public pedestrian shopping traffic, <br /> unless written permission has been obtained from the owner, occupant, or person in charge <br /> of the property. <br /> 4. In any area within the City while being pushed, pulled or in anyway propelled by any <br /> motorized vehicle or by a person on a bicycle. <br /> 5. In a careless, reckless, or negligent manner in disregard for the rights or safety of property or <br /> any other person. <br /> 6. Contrary to the rights and duties applicable to the driver of any vehicle pursuant to <br /> Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 169, except in respect to those provisions therein which by their <br /> nature cannot reasonably be applied to such devices. <br /> 7. Upon the roadway of any State or County State Aid Highway <br /> SECTION 5. Responsibility of Parent. <br /> No parent, guardian, or other adult having custody and control of a minor under 18 years of age <br /> shall knowingly permit the minor to violate the provisions of this Ordinance. <br /> SECTION 6. Violations <br /> Any person who violates any provision of this ordinance shall be guilty of a petty misdemeanor <br /> punishable by up to $100.00 fine. <br /> In addition, any police officer who observes any person violating this ordinance is authorized to seize <br /> the offender's skateboard, roller skates, roller blades or roller skis and hold the same at the Pequot <br /> Lakes Police Department. In the event of such a seizure, the offender, if an adult, may secure the return <br /> of the article seized after twenty-four(24) hours have elapsed since the seizure. In the case of a minor, <br /> the article seized shall be returned only to the parent or guardian of such minor offender after twenty- <br /> four(24) hours have elapsed since the seizure. <br /> SECTION 7. Repeal of Conflicting Ordinances. <br /> All former ordinances or parts thereof conflicting or inconsistent with the provisions of this <br /> ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency. <br /> SECTION 8. Effective Date. <br />
