ORDINANCE 06-08 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6.3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> TO CORRECT INCONSISTENCIES AND ADD IMPERVIOUS COVERAGE <br /> LIMITS. <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> Section 1. Purpose and Intent. The purpose and intent of this ordinance is to amend <br /> Section 6.3 Recreational Vehicle Resort Overlay District (RV). <br /> Section 2. Section 6.3, subpart 1, shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> 1. Purpose and Intent: The Recreational Vehicle Resort Overlay District (RV) is <br /> intended to provide for Recreational Vehicle Resort developments and individual <br /> ownership of sites within such developments. The intent is to allow for <br /> economically feasible options for such uses and to designate areas in the City <br /> where developments of this type are appropriate to maintain the character of the <br /> underlying zoning district and to be compatible with the surrounding <br /> neighborhood. <br /> Section 3. Section 6.3, subpart 3, shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> 2. Standards. All Recreational Vehicle Resort developments applying for conditional <br /> permit within the Recreational Vehicle Resort Overlay District must meet the <br /> criteria and standards set forth in Section 8.4 Campgrounds/Campsites and <br /> Section 8.2 Planned Unit Development of this Ordinance in addition to the <br /> standards contained in this Section of the Ordinance, unless otherwise indicated <br /> herein or waived by the Planning Commission. <br /> Section 4. Section 6.3, subpart 4, shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> 4. Impervious Coverage. The maximum impervious coverage for properties falling <br /> within the Recreational Vehicle Resort Overlay District is 25%. <br /> Section 5. Section 6.3, subpart 5, shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> 5. Density. Within the overlay district, for the development of a Recreation Vehicle <br /> Resort, there shall be no density limitation. The minimum standards for site sizing <br /> and buffering contained in Sections 8.2 and 8.4 shall be strictly adhered to. Final <br /> density allowed shall be based on an evaluation of the criteria in Section 8.2 and <br /> Section 8.4 and an evaluation of the ability of the site to support the proposed <br /> level of density. <br />
