ORDINANCE NUMBER 06-04 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 5.10 AND 5.13 OF THE ZONING <br /> ORDINANCE TO INCREASE THE IMPERVIOUS COVERAGE LIMITS. <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> Purpose and Intent. The purpose and intent of this ordinance is to amend Sections 5.10 <br /> Commercial and 5.13 Light Industrial. <br /> Section 1. Section 5.10, subpart 4A, containing performance standards for the <br /> Commercial zone, shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> A. Impervious Coverage. Impervious coverage may be increased by up to 25%, not <br /> to exceed 50% of the property, through a conditional use permit if the following <br /> information is provided and approved by the City: <br /> i. A stormwater retention plan showing containment of a 10-year, 24- <br /> hour storm event on the parcel. <br /> Section 2. Section 5.13, subpart 3, containing Lot, Use and Density Requirements, shall <br /> be amended from 25% as the "Impervious surface—percent, maximum" number to 50%. <br /> Section 3. Section 5.13, subpart 4A, containing performance standards for the Light <br /> Industrial zone, shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> A. Impervious Coverage. Impervious coverage may be increased up to 90%through <br /> a conditional use permit on properties where municipal storm sewer is available if <br /> the following is provided: <br /> i. A vegetation plan for the perimeter of the property that increases <br /> vegetation within the setbacks. <br /> ii. Direct runoff of stormwater to adjacent properties shall be eliminated <br /> through the use of berms, infiltration ponds, swales, filtration strips, or <br /> other permanent means. <br /> Section 4. Effective Date.
