ORDINANCE NUMBER 07-07 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11.3 PLANNING COMMISSION, AND <br /> SECTION 11.5 CITY COUNCIL,AND <br /> SECTION 11.9 SUBDIVISIONS <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> Section 1. Purpose and Intent: The purpose and intent of this Ordinance is to amend <br /> Section 11.3, 11.5 and 11.9 of the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Section 2. Amendment: Section 11.3, Subdivision 2 (B) shall be amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> B. To decide within the required time frame the following: <br /> 1. Recommendations to the City Council regarding requested Zoning <br /> District boundary changes or amendments to the Ordinance. <br /> 2. To review and provide recommendations to the City Council on <br /> preliminary plats and final plats. <br /> Section 3. Amendment: Section 11.5, Subdivision 1 (C) shall be amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> C. To decide within the required time frame the following: <br /> 1. Recommendations from the Planning Commission for changes in <br /> Zoning District boundaries. <br /> 2. Recommendation from the Planning Commission for acceptance of <br /> preliminary plats and final plats. <br /> 3. Appeals of the decisions of the Planning Commission regarding <br /> Conditional Use Permits. <br /> 4. Appeals of the decision of the Board of Adjustment for variances from <br /> this Ordinance. <br /> 5. To hear appeals from the actions of the Board of Adjustment and the <br /> Planning Commission where there action is normally final. <br /> Section 3. Amendment: Section 11.9, Subdivision 6 (C) and 6 (D) as follows: <br /> C. The Planning Commission shall review the reports of the Attorney, Engineer, <br /> Zoning Administrator, and independent Registered land Surveyor and make a <br /> recommendation to the City Council within the required timeframe. <br /> D. Following approval by the City Council, the subdivider shall submit to the <br /> Zoning Administrator four(4) mylar prints of the final plat or final <br /> condominium plat for signature by the Mayor and Clerk. <br /> Section 4. Effective Date: This Ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and <br /> publication as provided by law. <br />
