ORDINANCE 08-03 ORDINANCE NO. 1, FIRST SERIES AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REVISION AND CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES TO BE KNOWN AS THE PEQUOT LAKES CITY CODE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF PEQUOT LAKES ORDAINS: Section 1. Code Adopted. The "Pequot Lakes City Code," which contains revisions and codification of the previous ordinances of the City,is hereby adopted. A copy of such code shall be marked "Official Copy" and filed as part of the official records of the City in the office of the City Clerk. Section 2. Copies. The City Clerk shall provide a sufficient quantity of the Pequot Lakes City Code for general distribution to the public and shall give notice in the official newspaper for at least two successive weeks that copies are available in the City Clerk's office for examination or purchase. Section 3. Prima Facie Evidence. The Pequot Lakes City Code shall be prima facie evidence of the law of the City pursuant to Minn. Stat. §§ 415.02 and 559.13. Section 4. Repeal. Ordinances which are repealed as a part of the codification process are listed in Appendix D of the Pequot Lakes City Code. Section 5. Effective date. This ordinance becomes effective upon the passage and publication of this ordinance including a notice stating that printed copies are available at the office of the City Clerk.
