WHEREAS, under the terms of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe <br /> Streets act of 1968 (Public Law 90-351, Section 306) as amended by <br /> the Crime Control Act of 1970 ( Public Law 91-616) the United States <br /> of America has authorized State Crime Planning Commissions to make <br /> grants to applicants to assist in the acquisition and development <br /> of joint record-keeping systems ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of6444, ,and the County of. Crow Wing <br /> jointly desire to file an application with the Governor's Commission <br /> on Crime Prevention and Control for a grant under the Omnibus Crime <br /> Control and Safe Streets Act; and <br /> WHEREAS, by separate resolution the ? <br /> � W f City Council <br /> has authorized the County Auditor to file a joint City-County <br /> application for such a grant. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City <br /> of ,,e./X and County Board of the County of Crow Wing hereby <br /> y <br /> authorizes Einer R. Anderson, County Auditor, to execute and file an <br /> application and any amendments thereto on behalf of the City of <br /> C ZcZ4, Minnesota and County of Crow Wing Minnesota with <br /> the Governor' s Commission on Crime Prevention and Control, State <br /> of Minnesota, for a federal assistance grant for the acquisition and <br /> development of a joint record-keeping system for the Police Departments <br /> of Brainerd, Crosby, Crosslake, Breezy Point, Pequot Lakes, N isswa, <br /> Baxter and Deerwood, and the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department. <br /> Passed and adopted by the City,Council of the City of <br /> Minnesota, the ,) " day of 1.(/_f�-„.•f�1, , 1975• <br />
