Council Member Sjoblad stated that he
felt it may be best to hire a person that would hold the licenses and would
still work with the maintenance department. Council Member Malecha
stated that it may be best to go back to the public works concept but hire a
water wastewater operator. She explained that this would entail Mike
Loven returning to the position of Public Works Supervisor.
Council Member Ryan concurred with the idea of a public works
department but would like to ensure that Mike Loven also concurs as his
existing position would be changed to Public Works Supervisor. Council
Member Malecha stated that she spoke with Mike Loven and he indicated
that he is agreeable.
