�-- Resolution Declaring Cost to Be Assessed, and Ordering Preparation of Proposed <br /> Assessment <br /> WHEREAS, costs have been determined for the storm sewer improvement of <br /> Second Street between W. Woodman and Main Streets and Block 3, Cole's Plat between <br /> Oriole Street, Government Drive, E. Butler Street and CR 112, and the contract price for <br /> such improvement is $131,897.25, and the expenses incurred in the making of such <br /> improvement amount to $20,449.56 so that the total cost of the improvement will be <br /> $152,346.81. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PEQUOT <br /> LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The portion of the cost of such improvement is hereby declared to be paid <br /> by: Crow Wing County $ 12,250.00; by the City $79,706.41 and the portion of the cost <br /> to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $60,390.40. <br /> 2. Assessments shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over <br /> a period of g years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first <br /> Monday in January, 1998 and shall be interest at the rate of percent per annum <br /> from the date of the adoption of the assessment resolution. <br /> 3. The city clerk, with the assistance of the consulting engineer, shall <br /> forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement <br /> against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without <br /> regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and she shall file a copy of such proposed <br /> assessment in her office for public inspection. <br /> 4.
