CASS AND CROW WING COUNTIES <br /> MINNESOTA PLANNING <br /> COMMUNITY-BASED PLANNING GRANT PROGRAM <br /> RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT <br /> WHEREAS, Cass and Crow Wing Counties and the municipalities along the Minnesota <br /> Highway #371 corridor have experienced tremendous development and population <br /> growth; and, <br /> WHEREAS, coordinated inter-governmental community-based planning for land use and <br /> infrastructure is vital to orderly development; and, <br /> WHEREAS, a cooperative approach to implementing new technologies will greatly <br /> enhance the planning and plan implementation process, and; <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Planning is making available grants to fund the development of <br /> community-based plans and related technology to enhance the planning process. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> THAT the City of Pequot Lakes hereby endorses and supports the application by Cass <br /> and Crow Wing Counties for a Community-based Planning Grant. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, <br /> THAT the City of Pequot Lakes agrees to assist in the planning process and implement <br /> the plan as it affects this unit of government. <br /> This resolution was accepted by a majority of the Pequot Lakes City Council and adopted <br /> the 6th day of October, 1998. <br /> J-.
