NC NG DISTRICT NUMBER 1-5 OF THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> WHEREAS, on October 14, 1997 the City of Pequot Lakes (the "City") created its Tax <br /> Increment Financing District Number 1-5 (the "District") within its Development District <br /> Number 1 (the "Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, as of the date hereof there are no outstanding bonds or obligations to <br /> which tax increment from the District is pledged; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires by this resolution to cause the decertification of the <br /> District after which all property taxes generated by property within the District will be <br /> distributed in the same manner as all other property taxes. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pequot <br /> Lakes that the City's staff shall take such action as is necessary to notify the County Auditor <br /> of Crow Wing County of the City's action to decertify the District as a tax increment financing <br /> district. <br /> DATED this second day of March, 1999. <br /> Jack Schmidt <br /> M4ior <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Marty Ptetseh <br /> City Clerk <br />
