Jetted from MH north of Pestello's to MH in Tower Square. Pulled out a lot of sand.
• April 12th, collected samples from all eight monitoring wells and the Secondary Pond.
Took to Booth Office Supply and mailed to NTS Lab for analysis.
• April 14t", added a pail of SuperZymes and Bacteria Booster to the Primary Pond.
Trying to keep the odors under control. Collected soil samples from spray site.
• Also on the 14th, met with Sandy and Dawn to discuss our WAC and SAC fees and how
we need to handle large, multi-unit buildings. We may need to make some changes to
our water/sewer ordinances. Any input from Council on some direction would be
greatly appreciated. I spoke to Mike Roers with MRWA and he mentioned the
possibility of chaxging according to the size of the water/sewer service. I also spoke
with a couple of neighboring cities and they both charge connection fees for each
individual unit. An apartment building with several units is charged per unit. Each unit
is considered an ERC/ERU. (Equivalent Residential Connection/LTnit) How would we
like to handle this?
Report Submitted By: Tina Nolden (Water/Wastewater Manager)
Please call me if you have any questions/comments.
218-568-5604 or 218-820-2125
