Noren introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pequot Lakes, Crow Wing County, Minnesota is a statutory local <br /> road authority, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pequot Lakes has responsibility for the health, general welfare, <br /> and safety of its residents and the motoring public upon its local road system, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pequot Lakes has the authority to initiate rules and regulations <br /> for said roads, <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City of Pequot Lakes adopts the following <br /> rules and regulations to be displayed on the Cartway, Birch Lane: <br /> 1. The cartway is open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily <br /> 2. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the cartway area. <br /> 3. All litter and garbage must be placed in garbage cans. <br /> 4. No dogs or pets are allowed on the cartway. <br /> 5. No parking shall obstruct traffic or interfere with private property or private <br /> driveways. <br /> 6. No fires are allowed on the cartway. <br /> 7. No watercraft or motorized vehicles are allowed on the cartway or cartway <br /> shore. <br /> 8. Any person using the cartway area must act in a peaceful and orderly <br /> manner. Loud or disruptive behavior or loud amplification which would <br /> constitute a nuisances is hereby expressly prohibited. <br /> 9. No camping is allowed on the cartway. <br /> The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br /> member G. well] and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br /> in favor thereof: J.
