Welu introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes, <br /> Minnesota as follows: <br /> The Pequot Lakes City Council prohibits travel by commercial vehicles in <br /> excess of 10,000 pounds axle weight on Old Highway #371 between Tree <br /> Farm Road and County Road #11. <br /> The weight restriction shall not apply to city or emergency vehicles, public <br /> school buses or to garbage and refuse trucks making regular collections <br /> or under contract, nor shall the weight restrictions apply if a commercial <br /> vehicle must use Old #371 for the purpose of local pick-up or delivery. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Council member J. Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br /> following voted in favor thereof: <br /> G. Welu, J. Thompson, J. Johnson, J.
