RESOLUTION #03129 <br /> A RESOLUTION CONSIDERING CONDITIONS OF BREEZY POINT <br /> EMERGENCY SERVICES BUILDING <br /> Council member D. Sjoblad introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> adoption: <br /> WHEREAS, the city of Breezy Point is considering constructing an emergency <br /> services building to house fire vehicles and equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Breezy Point is willing to pay for the building in full on the <br /> condition that Breezy Point will not be responsible for paying for the <br /> construction of future fire department buildings that are built in other <br /> fire district areas serviced by the Pequot Lakes Fire Department <br /> (excluding properties located within the City of Pequot Lakes); and <br /> WHEREAS, payment of all other fire-related expenses for the City of Breezy <br /> Point will continue to be done on a fair-share basis; and <br /> WHEREAS, when the building is completed, the City of Breezy Point agrees to <br /> lease the building to the Pequot Lakes Fire Department for $1.00 <br /> per year. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Pequot Lakes City Council <br /> agrees to the conditions set forth in this resolution. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Council member T. Ryan, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following <br /> voted in favor thereof: J. Johnson, T. Ryan, J. Bolz-Andolshek, J. Akerson, M. <br /> Pfeiffer, and D.
