RESOLUTION 04-33 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> A RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION <br /> OF COUNCIL MEMBER JERRY AKERSON <br /> WHEREAS, On December 17, 2002, Jerry Akerson was elected to serve as Council <br /> Member for the City of Pequot Lakes for a two-year term; and <br /> WHEREAS, Jerry Akerson served on the Pequot Lakes City Council for two years, <br /> from January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2004; and <br /> WHEREAS, during Jerry's tenure as Council Member he was instigative in addressing <br /> and working with many issues confronting the growing community of <br /> Pequot Lakes such as <br /> • Expansion of Infrastructure to the Pequot Lakes Industrial Park <br /> • Working with MnDOT in the planning of the Highway 371 Expansion <br /> `.- • Purchase of a new City Hall and consolidating all departments to one city facility <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that during Jerry Akerson's term on the City <br /> Council, he is recognized for his contribution in helping to make Pequot <br /> Lakes a better place to live and a community to be proud of. <br /> Passed and adopted by the Pequot Lakes City Council this 7th day of December, 2004. <br /> fh <br /> Cathy Malecha, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Sandra A.
