RESOLUTION 04-21 <br /> A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE <br /> INDUSTRIAL PARK UTILITIES EXPANSION PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the Industrial <br /> Park along Morehouse Drive from Engen Road to Derksen Road and Lots <br /> 7 and 8, Block 4 of the Industrial Park, bids were received, opened and <br /> tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received <br /> complying with the advertisement: <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Young Excavating, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> PEQUOT LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached <br /> contract with Young Excavating in the City of Pequot Lakes for the improvement of the <br /> Industrial Park along Morehouse Drive from Engen Road to Derksen Road and Lots 7 <br /> and 8, Block 4 of the Industrial Park, according to the plans and specifications therefore <br /> approved by the City Council on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br /> the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the <br /> next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> Adopted by the Pequot Lakes City Council this 7th day of September, 2004. <br /> Cathy .lecha, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Sandra A.
