RESOLUTION 04-19 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE INDUSTRIAL PARK UTILITIES <br /> EXPANSION PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the council on July 6, 2004,the City <br /> Engineer has prepared plans and specification for the improvement of the <br /> Industrial Park from Morehouse Drive from Engen Road to Derksen Road <br /> and Lots 7 and 8, Block 4 of the Industrial Park and has presented such <br /> plans and specifications to the Council for approval. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> PEQUOT LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br /> hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an <br /> advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans <br /> and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for twenty-one (21) days, shall <br /> specify the work to be done, shall state that the bids will be received by the clerk until <br /> 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2004 at which time they will be publicly opened by <br /> the City Clerk and Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the council <br /> at 6:30 p.m. on September 7, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. Any bidder whose responsibility is <br /> questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the <br /> Council on the issue of responsibility.No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed <br /> with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check,bid bond or certified <br /> check payable to the clerk for five percent(5%) of the amount of such bid. <br /> Passed and adopted by the Pequot Lakes City Council this 3rd day of August, 2004. <br /> Cathy MMIechia, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Pe(—,;? <br /> Sandra A.
