CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION 06-21 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONTRIBUTIONS FOR MAY 2006 <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Pequot Lakes is generally authorized to accept contributions of real <br /> and personal property pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 465.03 for the <br /> benefit of its citizens and is specifically authorized to accept gifts and bequests for <br /> the benefit of recreational service pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 471.17; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, The following persons and entities have offered to contribute the cash sums set <br /> forth below to the City: <br /> Name of Donor Amount Requested Use of Donation <br /> Wells Fargo Foundation $100 Drug Prevention <br /> American Legion 49 Auxiliary $500 Fireworks for July 4th Celebration <br /> Federal Grant Funds (Fire) $7,150 Emergency Management Training <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PEQUOT <br /> LAKES,MINNESOTA that the contributions described above are hereby graciously accepted <br /> by the City of Pequot Lakes and shall be used as requested by the donors. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the City Council expresses its gratitude to the donors of <br /> the gifts. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes this 6th day of June, 2006. <br /> Cathy . echa, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: a a, �lf <br /> Sandra A.
