RESOLUTION #06-15 <br /> A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION 03128 AND ADOPTING <br /> RESOLUTION 06-15 ESTABLISHING A LIBRARY BOARD <br /> FOR PEQUOT LAKES LIBRARY <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby rescinds Resolution 03128; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council adopts a new resolution establishing a community <br /> library board for the Pequot Lakes Community Library; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City, with approval of the Council, shall appoint a <br /> board of seven members, a majority of whom will be from the City of Pequot <br /> Lakes; and <br /> WHEREAS, Library board members shall serve staggered three-year terms with <br /> all terms ending with the fiscal year; and <br /> WHEREAS, board members shall not be eligible to serve more than three <br /> consecutive three-year terms. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby establishes <br /> a seven-member Library Board for the Pequot Lakes Community Library. <br /> Passed and adopted by the Pequot Lakes City C uncil this 4th day of April, 2006. <br /> Cathy Malecha <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Sandra Peine <br /> City Clerk <br />
