RESOLUTION 13-17 <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES' REQUEST <br /> FOR STATE BOND FUNDS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pequot Lakes has submitted a request for state bond <br /> appropriations to Minnesota Management and Budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City is requesting state bond funding to replace wastewater treatment <br /> facility (WWTF) spray irrigation field equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the need to replace the WWTF equipment is because it will be impacted <br /> by the Minnesota Department of Transportation's proposed 4-lane <br /> improvements to Trunk Highway 371; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City is requesting $250,000 in funding from Minnesota Management <br /> and Budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City understands that if the funding is awarded, it will be required to <br /> contribute a matching amount of funds in the amount of$250,000. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Pequot Lakes City Council supports <br /> this request for state bond funds to assist in replacing the City's <br /> wastewater treatment facility spray irrigation field equipment. <br /> Passed and adopted by the Pequot Lakes City Council this 2nd day of July, 2013. <br /> Nancy A.
