RESOLUTION 10-37 <br /> A RESOLUTION FOR LAYOUT APPROVAL OF THE HIGHWAY 371 PROJECT <br /> At a meeting of the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes, held on the 14th day of <br /> December, 2010,the following Resolution was offered by Council Member Craig Nagel <br /> and seconded by Council Member David Sjoblad to wit: <br /> WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation has prepared a final layout for the <br /> improvement of Minnesota State Highway 371 within the City of Pequot Lakes from <br /> approximately County State Aid Highway 29 (RP 47.777)to County State Aid Highway <br /> 16 (RP 54.039); and seeks the approval thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, said final layouts are on file in the Minnesota Department of <br /> Transportation office, Baxter, Minnesota, being marked, labeled and identified as Layout <br /> No. 2A, Parts 2, 3, and 4; SP. 1810-92 from R.P. 47.777 to 54.039; and <br /> WHEREAS, improvements to city streets and appurtenances have been included in the <br /> said final layouts; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mn/DOT has requested that the City formally indicate its intent to <br /> participate in the costs of the traffic control signal system at Myers Road, and other <br /> improvements requested by the City and in accordance with the current Mn/DOT"Policy <br /> and Procedures for Cooperative Construction Projects with Local Units of Government." <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that said final layouts for the improvement <br /> of said Trunk Highway within the corporate limits be and is hereby approved. <br /> Upon the call of the roll the following Council Members voted in favor of the Resolution: <br /> • Mayor Nancy Adams, Council Member Cathy Malecha, Council Member Craig <br /> Nagel, Council Member David Sjoblad <br /> The following Council Members voted against its adoption: <br /> • Council Member Tom Ryan <br /> Passed and adopted by the Pequot Lakes City Council this 14th day of December, 2010. <br /> .a44e,Y a <br /> ATTEST: Nancy A.
