RESOLUTION NO. 10-18 <br /> RESOLUTION REGARDING OUTLOT B,BRANCHES <br /> REAL ESTATE ACQUISITION <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pequot Lakes (the"City")has been contacted by Crow Wing County <br /> regarding the sale of Outlot B, Branches ("Outlot B") to the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Outlot B has been forfeited to the State of Minnesota for failure to pay real estate <br /> taxes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has reviewed said acquisition of Outlot B and it is in the best interest of <br /> the City to acquire Outlot B for a future city street extension; and <br /> WHEREAS, acquisition of Outlot B has no relationship to the City's Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has determined it is in the City's best interest to acquire Outlot B <br /> pursuant to the following terms and conditions; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PEQUOT LAKES,MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The City is authorized to acquire Outlot B, Branches at a cost of$900.00, in <br /> addition to all usual and customary expenses associated with closing the <br /> transaction with the County of Crow Wing and State of Minnesota. <br /> 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute all documents necessary to <br /> close the transaction. <br /> 3. The acquisition of Outlot B, Branches does not have a direct relationship to the <br /> City's Comprehensive Plan therefore Planning Commission review is not <br /> 1 <br />
