Call Meeting to Order <br /> Chair Anderson called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Approve Park Board Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER JURCHEN MOVED TO APPROVE THE JUNE 14TH, <br /> 2007 PARK BOARD MINUTES. COMMISSIONER TWEED SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 3. Review Proposed Park Board Budget <br /> A. Review Ideas for 2008 Park Board Projects <br /> The Board reviewed the proposed Park Board Budget. <br /> Mayor Malecha informed the Park Board that the Paul Bunyan Scenic <br /> Byway is asking for $500 donation per year. It is the consensus of the <br /> Board to donate $500 per year to the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway as the <br /> trail is a recreational resource for the City. <br /> Mayor Malecha informed the Park Board that the Firemen's wives have <br /> declined the offer to clean the weeds out around the gazebo. Sandy <br /> Peine suggested the Board add $2,000 to their budget for professional <br /> maintenance of the weeds. <br /> MOTION MADE BY CHAIR ANDERSON TO INCREASE PARK BOARD <br /> BUDGET TO $18,000. SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER JURCHEN. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> Discussion was held regarding ideas for 2008 Park Board projects. These <br /> included placing hanging baskets along Government Drive, adding <br /> benches & picnic table's, painting bottom of gazebo. It was the consensus <br />
