Call Meeting to Order <br /> Chair Anderson called the meeting together at 4:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Park Board Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER TWEED MOVED TO APPROVE THE FEBRUARY 8, <br /> 2007 PARK BOARD MINUTES. COMMISSIONER JURCHEN <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> 3. Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association <br /> The Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association has received a $25,000 <br /> federal grant to create an approximately 20 page Tour Brochure for the <br /> byway route. The Association is asking the Park Board to describe up to <br /> four sites or areas our city would like to have considered for inclusion and <br /> provide a few sentences or bullet points about each section. The Board <br /> agreed to list the Fire Tower Park, Trailside Park, Lake Park and Historical <br /> Park. <br /> Commissioner Tweed agreed to write a brief description of each section. <br /> 4. Playground Equipment for Trailside Park <br /> Chair Anderson read a resignation letter from Commissioner Samuelson <br /> resigning her position as Commissioner on the Park Board effective <br /> immediately. <br /> Commissioner Samuelson had previously dropped off a proposal for <br /> playground equipment for the Trailside Park. The Board reviewed <br /> Commissioner Samuelson's proposal and consensus was to wait until <br /> spring when they could look at the playground area before making any <br /> decisions on what equipment to purchase. Commissioner Samuelson's <br /> proposal included: <br />
