Park Dedication for RV Resort
Developer Dan Helbling was present. The Park Board indicated its
frustration in having their park dedication recommendations changed by
the Planning Commission. Chair Anderson noted that the previous
decisions that were made by the Park Board were made under the
direction of Community Growth. He further noted that there must be a
more consistent way to handle park dedication. The Park Board discussed
whether the park dedication decisions should come directly from the
Planning Commission and not the Park Board. Commissioner Koslofsky
noted that if that were the case, then the Park Board would have no say in
acquiring future park land from park dedication.
