The Commissioners also discussed the
type of playground equipment for the Park. The Commissioners
discussed the concept of keeping the Park rustic and natural. There was a
suggestion to keep the equipment basic and simple such as teeter totters,
slides, and swings. Commissioner Malecha stated that she had read about
using natural playground equipment. She stated she would research this
concept and report back to the Commission.
It was the consensus of the Commission to have the dead trees cleared
and to wait to make a decision until the Commissioners can relook at the
park and to hear the report from Commissioner Malecha on the Natural
Playground concept.
4.
