Call Meeting to Order <br /> Meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Chair Tweed <br /> 2. Approve Park Commission Minutes <br /> MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER JURCHEN TO APPROVE <br /> THE MARCH 12, 2009, PARK COMMISSION MINUTES. <br /> COMMISSIONER JOHNSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 3. Park Brochure <br /> The Park Commission reviewed the draft park brochure from Jamie <br /> DenHartog. Suggestions were given to Jamie to include in the brochure. <br /> Jamie indicated he would include the suggestions and bring the brochure <br /> to the June meeting for another review. The Commission suggested <br /> having the brochure ready by July 4, 2009. <br /> 4. Summer Bands <br /> Council Member Malecha informed the Park Commission Members that <br /> she is still working out the final details in coordinating the summer band <br /> program. She indicated that she could possibly have the schedule ready <br /> within a week or two. <br /> 5. Park Garbage Cans <br /> Public Works Director Mike Loven noted that we are short about 6 to 8 <br /> garbage cans for the parks. He informed the Commission that there is a <br /> budget of$1,000 for the purchase of garbage cans. <br />
