Call Meeting to Order <br /> The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Chair Tweed <br /> 2. Approve Park Commission Minutes <br /> MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER JOHNSON TO APPROVE <br /> THE SEPTEMBER 10, 2009, PARK COMMISSION MINUTES. <br /> COMMISSIONER CLEMENT SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 3. Gildner Park — Discuss Playground Equipment — Report from Cathy <br /> Malecha on Natural Equipment <br /> Tabled until Spring 2010. <br /> 4. Historical Society — Present to Discuss Signaqe for Bell at Cole Memorial <br /> Building <br /> Karen Bye from the Historical Society asked if a sign could be put by the <br /> bell in addition to the signs along Highway 371. The Historical Society and <br /> the Park Board would like to see more color, benches and landscaping <br /> around the bell. <br /> The cost of the signs to be placed along the Highway side is <br /> approximately $700. <br /> MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER JOHNSON TO HAVE THE <br /> TWO MAIN SIGNS MADE FOR $700 AND TO ADD A SIGN & <br /> LANDSCAPING AROUND THE BELL. COMMISSIONER JURCHEN <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br />
