MEETING OF THE PEQUOT LAKES <br /> PARK BOARD <br /> THURSDAY, JUNE 9, 2005 <br /> TRAILSIDE PARK <br /> Members Present: Del Anderson, Ron Schaefer, Trudy Jurchen, and Faye <br /> Tweed <br /> Staff Present: Mike Loven, Street Superintendent; Mayor Malecha; and <br /> Sandy Peine, City Clerk <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Del Anderson called the meeting together at 4:00 p.m. <br /> 2. 5/12/2005 Park Board Minutes <br /> TRUDY JURCHEN MOVED TO APPROVE THE MAY 12, 2005 PARK <br /> BOARD MINUTES. RON SCHAEFER SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 3. Proposed Park Plan <br /> Chair Anderson indicated that the Council has appropriated the use of up <br /> to $20,000 for park improvements consisting of electricity, lighting, <br /> pathway, benches, etc. He also indicated that bids have been received for <br /> the electrical work and pathway. <br /> The Board discussed the style of lighting. A decision was made regarding <br /> the style of lighting. <br /> The board members walked the park to get an idea where the proposed <br /> path would be. <br /> Chair Anderson indicated that the Library Board has requested a bike rack <br /> at City Hall. It was the consensus of the Park Board that the City purchase <br /> a bike rack. <br /> 4.
