Park Board Minutes <br /> July 26, 2005 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Clerk indicated that the entire Park Budget could not be used for one park <br /> as there were other park needs in the City. <br /> The Park Board discussed the priority list and decided on the following <br /> priorities: <br /> 1 . Pathway <br /> 2. Electrical and Lighting <br /> 3. Picnic Shelter <br /> 4. Park Benches <br /> 5. Trees <br /> Discussion was held regarding the picnic shelter and the cost to build it. <br /> Ron Schaefer indicated he had a bid for $10,000. <br /> DEL MOVED TO ASK THE COUNCIL FOR ANOTHER $10,000 TO <br /> BUILD THE PICNIC SHELTER. FAY SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> MOTION CARRIED 3-0. RON SHAEFER ABSTAINED. <br /> Ron stated he abstained as he felt the pond was a higher priority than the <br /> picnic shelter. <br /> The Park Board continued to discuss the park issues. It was suggested <br /> that Jack Schmidt attend the next meeting to discuss the location and size <br /> of the war memorial. It was also suggested that the location of the old <br /> bean pot be saved for a pond sometime in the future. Another suggestion <br /> was made to do some fund raisers or to ask for donations to complete <br /> some of the park improvements. <br /> 4.
