The .com was missing from my email address, so I have <br />corrected it on the attached. <br />To bring everyone up to date, I just want to summarize some of the steps that we <br />indicated in our proposal to the City. <br />An overall improvement project can be broken into the following phases: <br />I. Public Input / Preliminary Layouts <br />II. Design <br />III. Bidding <br />IV. Construction (maybe in segments) <br />We are at Phase I, the Public Input / Preliminary Layout phase. <br />In this phase, the Focus Group's initial role will be to review draft material and a <br />handout survey we (WSN) will prepare that will then be presented to the public and <br />properties along the corridor in seeking their input. <br />After this initial meeting with the Focus Group, we (WSN) will prepare for and facilitate a <br />First Public Information / Input Session at which we will present a range of pictures of <br />different street and streetscape elements. We will also prepare and hand out a survey. <br />Next, we will then facilitate a(breakfast) meeting specifically with property owners along <br />this corridor to cover the same items as the First Public Information / Input Session, <br />including asking them to fill out a survey. <br />Next, we plan on meeting with the P&Z Commission to seek their input. <br />After the above three meetings, we will get back together with the Focus Group to <br />review the input and surveys received from the above three meetings and funnel down <br />to a proposed improvement layout. This layout may include an alternative for different <br />components. <br />Next, we will prepare some drawings / exhibits with the proposed improvement layout <br />and alternatives. At this stage we will also prepare a rough cost estimate of these <br />� <br />improvements. <br />We will then meet with the Focus Group to confirm our understanding of and review the <br />information provided to date. At this meeting, we will also discuss the scope of our <br />2/16/2011 <br />
