PEQUOT LAKES <br /> PARK COMMISSION <br /> THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2011 <br /> CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Commissioners Jeff Bruch and Karen Ettesvold, and Chair <br /> Pete Clement <br /> Members Absent: Commissioner Faye Tweed <br /> Also Present: Sandy Peine, City Clerk <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> The meeting was called to order at 4:18 p.m. by Chair Clement. <br /> 2. 8/11/11 Park Commission Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER BRUCH MOVED TO APPROVE THE 8/8/2011 <br /> MINUTES. COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> 3. Master Park Plan Discussion <br /> The Clerk informed the Commission that the Planning Commission will <br /> meet at Trailside Park an hour before their regular meeting to begin <br /> discussions on a City master park plan. The Planning Commission has <br /> invited the Park Commission to attend the meeting. Karen Ettesvold stated <br /> that she would attend. Jeff Bruch would also try to attend. <br /> 4. Playground Equipment <br /> It was the consensus of the Commission to discuss playground equipment <br /> at a future meeting. The Commission indicated that the Bands in the Park <br /> program was well received and stated that they would like to ensure it is <br /> continued. The Commission requested Cathy Malecha to discuss the <br /> procedures for the program so that someone else would be able to take <br /> this over if she decided not to continue to orchestrate the program. <br /> 5. Other Business <br /> There was no other business. <br /> 6. Adjournment <br />
