It was also decided to <br /> see if the City logo could be added to the banner. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 4. Park Tours <br /> The Park tour was cancelled due to cold weather. <br /> 4.A. Location of Bike Racks <br /> Discussion was held regarding the location of the bike racks. Mayor <br /> Adams stated that the bike racks have been ordered. The Commission <br /> stated that they could start by placing bike racks at Bobber Park, the <br /> Library, the Cole Memorial Building, and at Trailside Park. <br /> 5. Other Business <br /> Karen Ettesvold said that she has received a few Master Park Plans from <br /> surrounding cities. She noted that she would like time to review the plans <br /> and put together a list of park amenities that the Commission could use <br /> during the park tours. She explained that this could be a way for us to <br /> decide what we like in the parks and what we feel is missing in the parks. <br /> The Park Commission felt that they would be able to draft a master park <br /> plan and then have it reviewed by the Planning Commission. <br /> Chair Clement spoke about the possibility of having a community garden. <br /> The Mayor brought up the idea of a:farmer's market which would be <br /> supported by the City. <br /> Commissioner Tweed said she is ready to begin planning the bushes by <br /> the Cole Memorial Building and the flowers in Bobber Park. Commissioner <br /> Ettesvold stated she would be willing to assist. Chair Clement asked if the <br /> City Street Department could water the flowers. Mike Loven stated that <br /> they coiildf to the flowers in Bobber Park. <br /> Mike Loven aid that he received a bid from Bengston Electric for $1,080 <br /> to install electric and lights in the band shelter. <br /> Discussion was held regarding funding for finishing the band shelter. The <br /> Clerk noted that she would provide a financial report to the Commission at <br /> the next Park Commission Meeting. The Commissioners discussed the <br /> style of finishing for the walls and the ceiling. It was the consensus that <br /> Chair Clement and Commissioner Bruch would work with Mike Loven on <br /> the style of finishing and get quotes for the product. <br />
