Objective 1 - City Parks: Create a park system suited to a small community with a <br /> large visitor population. <br /> . Make lakes, wetlands, and public forests more accessible to the public <br /> . Identify and establish well-marked routes that more directly connect snowmobile and <br /> bicycle traffic from the regional trail system into the city. <br /> . Seek to build partnerships and establish the feasibility of constructing a grade- <br /> separated bicycle trail between the downtown area and Eagle View Elementary <br /> School along the Highway 11 corridor. <br /> . Establish a rustic hiking, snowshoe, and cross-country ski trail. <br /> . Develop an outdoor skating rink to use during winter month; possibly in conjunction <br /> with a splash park during summer months. <br /> . Explore development of a large Community Park(as described earlier) <br /> Objective 2 - City Parks: Maintain and upgrade existing parks <br /> . Continue to maintain and upgrade all existing parks while exploring activities that <br /> are free. <br />
