PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION <br /> THURSDAY, AUGUST 7, 2013 <br /> CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Chair Malecha, Commissioners Ettesvold, Bruch, and <br /> Gibbons <br /> Members Absent: Commissioner Nagel <br /> Also Present: Sandy Peine, City Clerk; Mike Loven, Public Works <br /> Supervisor; Council Liaison Tyler Gardner; and Mayor Nancy <br /> Adams <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Chair Malecha called the meeting to order at 4:11 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> MOTION BY COMMISSIONER BRUCH AND SECONDED BY <br /> COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD TO APPROVE THE AGENDA. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER BRUCH MOVED TO APPROVE THE 7/11/2013 PARK <br /> COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER GIBBONS SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 4. Sibley Lake Park — Dog Park <br /> The Clerk explained that the Council has requested more information <br /> regarding the Dog Park prior to giving authorization to move ahead. She <br /> stated the Council would like information on the size, a layout/drawing, <br /> rules and information, and cost of the dog park. It was the consensus of <br /> the Commissioners to have Josh Gibbons meet with Sheridan and ask her <br /> to provide the requested information to the Council. <br /> 5. Mayo Lake Nature Preserve <br /> Mike Loven updated the Commissioners on improvements that they are <br /> working on. He stated that permission has been granted by the Minnesota <br /> Land Trust to move forward with the parking lot. <br /> 6. Other Business <br /> Public Restrooms <br />
