COMMISSIONER GIBBONS SECONDED
THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
Commissioner Nagel thanked Mayor Adams for pursuing the purchase of
the park. The Commission suggested that the donation be
made to a splash park instead.
Discussion was held regarding locations for the bike rack at Trailside Park.
The Commission stated that an earlier discussion had taken place about
possibly locating the bike racks on a patio to eliminate the need to weed
whip around each rack. It was suggested to place the racks at both ends
of the park. It was the consensus of the Commissioners that Mike Loven
works with Karen Ettesvold and Josh Gibbons regarding the locations of
the bike racks and the fence at Trailside Park.
Council Member Tyler Gardner stated that the trees along the Paul
Bunyan Trail are out of control and need trimming. He suggested that CLC
students could assist and get horticulture credits for the work.
