Consider Agenda
COMMISSIONER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA.
COMMISSIONER RONNING SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED
4-0.
3. 9/11/14 Park Commission Minutes
COMMISSIONER RONNING MOVED TO APPROVE THE 9/11/2014 PARK
COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER CAOUETTE SECONDED THE
MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
4. Trailside Park Plan
The Park Commission reviewed the proposed Trailside Park Plan. The Park
Commission made the following comments to the park plan. The numbers
coordinate to the numbers in the 8/6/14 Draft Trailside Park Plan
1) Signage will be needed stating that the parking area is for park use.
Concrete curb will be needed to delineate parking area from park. The existing
use of the area for park and ride will have to be abandoned. It was suggested
that the City consider another area to be designated as a park and ride area.
The Commission discussed the style of fence for the playground. It was the
consensus that because of the location and visibility to the highway a fence that
is more decorative than chain link is necessary.
2). It was noted that the existing trees are smaller style trees (chokecherry
and flowering trees). No change.
3). Delete.
