Call Meeting to Order <br /> Chair Malecha called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA AS <br /> AMENDED. COMMISSIONER RONNING SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 3. 8/14/2014 Park Commission Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER GIBBONS MOVED TO APPROVE THE 8/14/2014 PARK <br /> COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 4. Playground/Splash Park <br /> A. Playground Design — Review and Approve <br /> The Commission reviewed the playground design for Trailside Park. The <br /> cost of the playground has been donated by the Nancy and Tom Adams <br /> family and will be installed at Trailside Park in the spring of 2015. <br /> COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD MOVED TO RECOMMEND THAT THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL APPROVE THE DESIGN OF THE PLAYGROUND. <br /> COMMISSIONER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> B. Fencing Style and Costs <br /> The Commissioners discussed the type of fencing to be used as a buffer <br /> between the playground and Highway 371. Mike Loven suggested some <br /> type of cyclone fencing. It was the consensus of the Commission to make <br /> the decision on the fencing after the playground is constructed. <br />
