This is an area of the park that should be used to sculpt flower beds and very low(1-2 foot) shrubs <br /> naturally into the landscape. This is not an active part of the park and so its value is in its aesthetics. It is <br /> a visual transition between the adjacent roadways and the park and serves as a backdrop for those <br /> attending concerts at the band shell.
