Park Board Minutes <br /> June 11, 2015 <br /> Page 3 <br /> The Clerk passed around a sign-up sheet for Commissioners to meet the bands <br /> when they arrive and explain how to drive in to the band shelter. <br /> Portable Toilet <br /> Mike Loven noted that the Mayor will recommend that the Council pay for the <br /> portable toilets in the park from Council contingency. <br /> 6. Dog Park <br /> Chair Malecha reported that the metal signs have been installed at the Dog Park. <br /> 7. Signaqe <br /> Mike Loven noted that signs still have to be made for the Dog Park and Dru's <br /> Garden. He also noted that Jack Schmidt has requested the Park Commission to <br /> place a sign at the Veteran's Memorial stating "no climbing on the memorial." <br /> COMMISSIONER NORDBY MOVED THAT THE SIGNS BE MADE OF WOOD <br /> SO THAT THE PARK SIGNS REMAIN SIMILAR THROUGHOUT THE CITY. <br /> COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 8. Flower Gardens <br /> Commissioner Ettesvold informed the Commission that she has planted plants <br /> under the sign at the Cole Memorial Building per the Historical Society's request. <br /> Ann Hutchins has offered to water the plants. <br /> Commissioner Nagle stated that the garden on the south end of the park can be <br /> dismantled. <br /> 9. Other Business <br /> The playground parking area was discussed. <br /> 10. Adjournment <br /> There being no further business, COMISSIONER NAGLE MOVED TO <br /> ADJOURN THE MEETING. COMISSIONER BRUCH SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m. <br />
