I know a new group of elected <br /> officials are in place now, but Nancy said the park committee would be the place for me to start, and that they <br /> wouldn't meet again until spring. <br /> Now that it is spring, I thought I should re-approach the city about the idea. <br /> The Whitefish Area Lodging Association(WALA)has paid to develop a unique bench concept and looking for <br /> places to house the benches. (see attached concept) WALA would paid to get the benches made and maintain <br /> the paint. The benches will have a metal frame with a fiberglass-like exterior. We're looking for a spot in a high <br /> traffic area where a bench could be needed. <br /> Several benches will go up in Crosslake this spring, and one in Pine River, too.
