McBryde 3732 County Road 168 Pequot Lakes, MN 56472 Re: City of Pequot Lakes Potential Ordinance Violation PIN: 290223300800009&290223405C00009 Dear Ms. McBryde: After meeting with you on-site October 27,2003,we felt that you understood our explanation of which items needed to be properly stored or removed. You also agreed to contact the Planning and Zoning Office the following week with your schedule or plan for the storage or removal. To date,we have not heard from you. Upon a recent inspection, there is still refuse and debris that needs to be removed or properly stored. The Planning Commission has asked that we turn this matter over to the City Council. When we do, the City Council will most likely turn this matter over to the City Attorney for prosecution. We would like to make one final attempt to work this out with you. Please plan to attend the upcoming Planning and Zoning meeting, February 19, 2004,at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Sibley Center, 31941 County Road 112, Pequot Lakes. Failure to attend and inform the Commission of your schedule for removal will demonstrate your unwillingness to comply with the Ordinance. Any person who violates provisions of the Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Penalties for such a conviction could be fines up to$750.00 and/or up to 90 days in jail, administrative fines for each day the violation continues and court costs. This seems unnecessary for a situation that you could easily and quickly resolve_ If you do not attend the February 19 meeting, this matter will be turned over to the Prosecuting Attorney for the City on February 20, 2004.
