SCOTT; RE-ZONE STAFF COMMENTS 11-27-01
RE Code: 910-102-303-AA0-889
PUBLIC RESPONSES:
REQUEST: The applicant has requested to rezone approximately 11.56 acres from
Residential back to Waterfront Commercial.
EXISTING USE: The property is being used as a Waterfront Commercial, Tall Timbers
Resort. Sibley Township rezoned the property to Residential during the Comprehensive
Planning stages.
EXISTING ZONING: Residential
North: County Rd #17 and Agriculture
South: Sibley Lake, General Development
East: Residential
West: City of Pequot Lakes
PROPERTY ACCESS:
The property is presently accessed via County Rd#17.
HISTORY:
August 25, 1993; a previous land owner requested the property to be rezoned from
Residential to Waterfront Commercial.
August 31, 1993; Crow Wing County Board of Commissioners rezoned the
property from Residential to Waterfront Commercial.
The proposed rezoning would appear to be appropriate.
