A motion by John Derksen, seconded by Karl Moon, to approve the Minutes of the May <br /> meeting with the following corrections: the spelling of Mr. Marohn's name be corrected. <br /> Mr. Marohn pointed out the two letters that had been written to the City of Jenkins. An <br /> EAW would be required due to more than 50 units for the campground and a NPDES <br /> would be required for the golf course. Discussion followed regarding the City of Jenkins <br /> and it was the consensus of the Commission to have Mr. Marohn contact the City of <br /> Jenkins and offer our Commission's services as a cooperative advisory commission. <br /> Old Business: Mr. Derksen informed the commission that someone had mentioned the <br /> unfinished house to him. Staff will follow-up on this. Mr. Marohn and staff are currently <br /> working on the zoning districts and language within the City. Mr. Moon offered Mr. <br /> Marohn information from the computer at the Town Hall. <br /> New Business: Grace United Methodist Church Sign. The proposed sign would exceed <br /> the 12 foot height restriction at 15.5 feet. <br /> A motion by Joe Dotty, seconded by Karl Moon, to deny the application for the sign as <br /> proposed, it would need to be adjusted to comply with the ordinance. All members voted <br /> "aye". Motion carried. <br /> Craig Nagel reminded the members of the Highway 371 Project Open House on <br /> Thursday, June 27, 2002 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. and encouraged everyone to attend. <br /> A motion by Martin Nelson, seconded by Joe Dotty, to adjourn the meeting.
