24. Richard Anderson: Mr. Anderson has stored the debris on his property.
This violation has been resolved.
25. David Watt: Mr. Watt was notified in July 2002 that a conditional use
permit he received in January 2002 had not been completely fulfilled.
Two conditions, the submittal of a screening plan and a record of Alarm
installation, were to be completed. We have received a landscape plan and
need to verify the alarm installation.
26. Gary Morrison: Mr. Morrison has installed a sewage treatment system
that was undersized. The system has not been approved by an inspector,
and despite indications that they would, the Morrisons have not taken
steps to address the shortcomings of their system. We have sent them a
letter and have not yet heard back from them.
27. Lakes Gas: For reasons unknown to us,the people at Lakes Gas have not
removed the structure that they were given a temporary permit for over
twelve months ago. They have repeatedly indicated they would do so,but
have failed to. After many months of working with them, we have now
formally notified them that they are in violation of the Ordinance. We are
hoping this prompts them to remove the structure as per their previous
agreements.
28. Cy Fyhrlund: We sent a letter to Mr. Fyhrlund to inform him of a potential
violation on his property concerning exterior storage. We have requested
removal of the debris before September 7, 2003. We have not received
any return correspondence yet.
29. Joseph and Deborah Hallbeck: We sent a letter to the Hallbecks to inform
them of a potential violation on their property concerning exterior storage.
We have requested removal of the debris before September 1, 2003. We
have not received any return correspondence yet.
30. Burt Lindbery: Mr Lindbery received a permit from Crow Wing County to
construct a garage. After receiving a complaint,we visited the property
and found that he is building an addition to the lakeside of the garage. We
have sent Mr. Lindbery a letter to cease and desist.
31. Steve Caouette: After receiving a complaint letter from an anonymous
property owner, we visited Mr. Caoutte's property and found that he is
constructing an addition to the rear of his lake home that he did not receive
a permit for. Being that he has previously received a permit to build a
garage, we are suspending that permit and asking him to cease and desist
any construction on the addition.
CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES PAGE 8
AUGUST 2003 STAFF REPORT
